Hampton Court Palace

Take the family to the oldest Tudor palace in England. Its many attractions include Henry VIII’s kitchens, occupying 50 rooms, the world famous maze and the King's Apartments. The gardens are vast and include the restored 1702 Privy Garden with its elaborate broderie. Visit in winter for the Hampton Court Ice Rink, or in summer when the Royal tennis court and banqueting house are open.

Somerset House

Visit this stunning 18th-century building on The Strand with its vast central courtyard, contemporary fountains and night-time illuminations. A visit to the houses reveals the celebrated collections of the Courtauld Institute of Art, the Gilbert Collection and Hermitage Rooms. In the summer there are open-air concerts in the Courtyard and in winter it’s transformed into a magical ice rink.

Kenwood House

This magnificent neoclassical house is set on the edge of Hampstead Heath. Inside is an important collection of paintings including works by Rembrandt, Vermeer, Turner, Reynolds and Gainsborough. The extensive gardens with pretty lake and woodland feature sculptures by Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth. During the summer the grounds host a series of outdoor classical and popular concerts.

Kensington Palace

Located in central London, Kensington Palace is a popular attraction as well as a private residence for members of the Royal Family. Visit the magnificent State Apartments and the Royal Ceremonial Dress Collection, which includes dresses worn by Diana, Princess of Wales. The building is set in Kensington Gardens and is a short walk from the shopping haven of Kensington High Street.

Cabinet War Rooms

Step back in time in the underground headquarters used by Winston Churchill and the British Government during the Second World War. A complex of 30 historic rooms lay hidden in the heart of London, protected from the falling bombs by reinforced concrete. Inside you’ll find the Cabinet Room where momentous decisions were made, the Transatlantic Telephone Room and the Map Room.
